Along with this Coronation, Afia received the title of SaChet KhutiWa in the Kindred of ShiEndra, which publicly solemnizes the agreement between SaChet KhutiWa Afia Walking Tree and the MaShiAat Oloya, Queen mother of The Kindred of ShiEndra, to marry the two lineages as a Sistah-affiliation. From that day forward, these two lineages walk together in the world, led and inspired by the unity of two powaful Queens and Community Leaders who have accepted the divinely inspired commission to move forward together, pollinating the world with their mission of spiritual activation and ending internalized oppression.

Afia Walking Tree, M.Ed, is a world-class percussionist, Queen of the Ajuba Lineage, Amazon Priestess of the drum, educator, motivational speaker, and contemporary healer and community leader. Afia Walking Tree's drumsongs are prayers of gratitude for the generosity of spirit. Her lyrics are evolutionary teachings that address present day issues of social justice, freedom, healing and self-love. Her first solo CD, entitled Soul Affirmationz is available online at the Spirit Drumz website. Born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica, she is currently based in Oakland, California.
